| Mage: The Awakening |

Played my first game of Mage: The Awakening Last night.
After a little confusion off the bat over who i was and what my direction was, i got really into the setting and really enjoyed the feel of the game.
Definately more intrigue and more politics than other WOD games i've played, which was a nice change setting wise. It reminds me of the wheel of time book series for a few different reasons, like the game of houses and the pattern. Things that i'm sure pop up in many fantasy books.
Over all it was the pinacle of my weekend, which isn't really saying that much as it was pretty quiet over all, but i does mean i have something i havnt had in years.... SAVINGS! |

So that time of year is upon us once more, Christmas/New Years.
And seeing as this will be my first new years in 2 years so I'm looking for something good to boogie on down too. (Sooo Glad i once more won't be missing out on new years at 000)
SO anyone out there on the IntarWebbs know what your doing for new years ?
I've half heartedly started looking at whats on, Meaning i saw a sign for Pacha! at HOME and thought, Hmmmm Maybe?
P.S. Like my new new user icon i find it both funny and creepy.

So i was one of the few people i know who did get tickets to see manson.
Was it worth the money ?
Certainly.
Better than last time ?
In a way yes, In a way no.
Manson's Performance last time was more epic and intresting and this time was just like any other gig.
But the people i went with and my view of the show was great, and i really enjoyed not only pre drinks, But the awesome house party i went to afterwards at Jess/Bec/Cin's house afterwards.
And made not only some new friends but had some great convo's and huge laughs.
4 of them lol. |

I caught the last 1/2 hour of the rocky horror picture show the other day.
I totally forgot how good a movie it is, and I remember saying to myself after seeing it for the first time i should try and see it performed live.
It's not like it's been on in anyway that i noticed since then just made me realize that when a troop or whatever term they use, gets together to perform something like that they perform it until no-ones interested and then move cities and so on and so, thus why i guess phantom of the opera is on in Melbourne.
But then i thought back to the other times i knew it was on, which has to be like twice since i was born and the last time has gotta be like.... 1997? I think craig mclaughlan (sp?) was Dr frankenfurter and it was like a near 2000 revamp with updated characters and a black guy playing rocky, not that i find that unusual just trying to piece things together.
I'm rambling now my point was that that's nearly 10 years ago so when can we expect a new tour? Surely Richard O'Brien needs more money. |

That's right i am without job, i quit in anticipation of a job with Oz post (Excitement plus :rolls eyes:) that i was a dead cert of getting (i had inside knowledge that i had it) and after doing a medical which i passed have been turned down because im allergic to RUBBER BANDS!
*shakes head* so so sad. i did explain to the docktor like 15 times that i do have a rubber glue allergy and its localized on my feet meaning that i have to be careful with shoes (as much fun as that is :P) and he just wrote down rubber allergy, next time I'm just gonna lie. It so not been worth being honest I've been to my local doctor who puts the goon into .... stupid doctor man... lemme alone i can't think and type at the same time, (the internet is proof I'm not alone in my malady on that case) and my specialist to get a note saying that im not basically allergic, wow that will fill them with trust and hire me :P
So now i wait to be re assessed and look for new jobs
maybe I'll look into being a roadie, heavy lifting and wearing black.
I'm fine with that. |

Well Transmission: Magic city was absolutely fandabbiedozy. I don't think I have had such a good night in such a long time. Everyone was there..... Well everyone i expected was there for the beautiful chemically charged night that it was.

First time candy flipping and it was excellent i will try it again, but I'm thinking i might give my brain a rest and just go back to drinking for a bit (cus i did quit for a bit), which i think is better right government ? (thats a political as i can be, sorry all my hardcore lesbian pirates on peglegs with one eye and a parrot on one shoulder.) (anyone who gets that joke is as old if not older than me)(DAAS FOREVER!)
Nice to run into Trashtasika and her crue, glad too see she got my tickets and yes i got your fundage too.
They like us were there to the very end, go hard or go home is what i say !
The security wasn't insane and seeing random real coppers round the place was unusual, but even they seemed to be having fun.
It was also nice going to something with a great mix of music, i was getting a little sick of hardcore and didn't think i could go another night of all hardstyle, so getting to hear some smoking elektro and some decent house was good. I even got a little gabber so musically i felt well rounded.

I'm pretty much uncaring of whether it's OD's in Penrith or the city (or somewhere else thats Irish) maybe we could ring the bell at scruffy Murphy's (which goes every 10 minutes, fuck last call says them eh ?).
Maybe hit ABDX or blink on the Friday and go for a 2 day bender ?
all i know is i needs some beer and i needs it good.... and maybe a wee bit o guiness pie

long time no see.
I really enjoyed queensland.
i loved it.
i could totally move there, at first i thought i couldnt move there without my license, but there public transport round the gold coast is really good.
busses regularly run til 3 am and run all over the place and restart at 6.
after the two weeks off it was reall agony trying to get happy about returning to work, its the little things that make the difference you know ?
they build up and you just learn to hate coming here.
i mean if i sat and looked at the pros and cons i could probably convince myself to stay here and enjoy the place.
to think if things worked out differently all you guys would be wearing ash and i's T-shirts round about now. i thought about that the other day, we had plans that slightly fell thru when he moved back up to blaxland, ah ce cera.
maybe those could still be my plans. *shrugs*
in other news jackass 2 was awesome, i saw it today
i really jumped all over my seat with my reactions
i would like to see it again any takers ? |

It was awesome. awesome to the max
we all met at penrith round 7ish apart from leigh who was met later.
Nearly everyone came i was impressed with the amount of people who turned up, yay for me and sam.
We got to the city of a bus, well 2 seperate busses as there was too many on the bus, so the people on bus 2 with me got all my evil black punch :D
Aparently bus 1 was antisocial and did nothing, tho that bus was packed and we were sitting near each other.
We got to sydney (met noni) and proceeded to the townie for much drinking until grant, bullen and meloonda left, so we headed to Die Maschine.
well i went 15mins later than everyone else cus i caught a train to stanmore on a dare and waited for the next train.
go IPOD!
You owe me 3 drinks tim heheh
All in all a good nite the music was pretty good and i got drunk not much more to say |

My birthday was quite fun i had the day before it off as well as my birthday so it was quite a relaxing monday-tuesday.
Just hung round the house, waiting for kate, had a few beers and bet on the doggies up at the henry lawson club.
Kate got me welcome to the jungle and an awesome bamboo plant that i have named boo for convience and cus it reminds me of monsters inc. I havnt decided on it's sex as of yet.
Mum and nan gave me money towards going away in october which of course was appreciated :D
Tuesday and wednesday were very lazy days and much 24 was watch-ed. Kate is quite the jack bauer junkie.
That keifer sutherland he is a man of many talents and will always save us
SCREW MCGUYVER !!!!
Really need to pick up my standing order at Kings tomorrow it should be MASSIVE.
